Postcard from Festival du Voyageur

Today marks the last day of Winnipeg’s annual Festival du Voyageur. This festival celebrates Canada’s fur-trading past and her unique French heritage and culture through entertainment, arts and crafts, music, exhibits, and displays. It is also Western Canada’s largest festival. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out over the past 10 days today is a beautiful sunny day to change that. Personally, I volunteered this year as one of their official photographers and regret to say that this is the first time I have been back since my elementary years. Don’t make the same mistake I did. I certainly won’t make it again.
