The heart of internal work.

We need to see the beauty in things again.
When we wake, we need to hear the birds outside our window and see the sun shine light on the darkness that came in the night.
When we look in the mirror, we need to see ourselves clearly through the fog of self-judgement.
When we go about our day, we need to remember to watch for positivity in the shadows of our bright differences.
When we come home, we need to appreciate who and what we have.
And when we go to bed, we need to remind ourselves…

Announcement: the Contemplative Creative podcast!

I am excited to announce a project I have been working at developing behind-the-scenes since January: Contemplative Creative.

On the go.

Long time no post. It has been a busy winter. I’m still here, and I’m doing good. I hope that you all are as well. Looking back, I can see that the cold weather and limited sunlight have subconsciously discouraged me from taking out my big camera as much as I would like. But it’s also a nice reminder that any camera is better than no camera, and so most of my recent photos have been taken with my phone.

You may have already noticed, but I would like to draw attention to my “On The …
